These are some minor softwares for use with OS/2.

Parsing FILES.BBS and applying descriptions to files

This script is a REXX script that parses the contents of the FILES.BBS and DESCRIPT.ION in the current directory and for each file or directory found attempts to set the .SUBJECT extended attribute to the description given.

Creating HTML directory listings that include descriptions

This script is a REXX script that reads the .SUBJECT extended attributes of files and directories in the current directory and from them generates an HTML directory listing, that includes the descriptions, to its standard output, suitable for inclusion in a web page.

Creating FILES.BBS files from descriptions

This script is a REXX script that reads the .SUBJECT extended attributes of files and directories in the current directory and from them generates a list of names and descriptions to its standard output, suitable for inclusion in a FILES.BBS or DESCRIPT.ION file.
