Blue Star Surveys specialize in the surveying of all types of motor boats, fast planing boats, narrow boats, canal cruisers and barges. All surveys are completed by our Qualified and fully insured Small Craft Surveyor, who will produce a fair and precise report on the condition of the vessel.

Blue Star Surveys are also able to offer Boat Safety Examinations, benefiting from being carried out by our qualified Marine Surveyor.

Based in Yorkshire we are able to cover all of Yorkshire and all parts of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire with no travel expenses. For areas outside this region very reasonable traveling expenses will be charged.

We love boats and boating, I have been a motorboat owner for 10 years and have cruised extensively around the Yorkshire Tidal and Non-Tidal waterways as well as the South Coast.

My love for the water stems from a career in the Merchant Navy as a Deck Officer for 7 years. Experience gained from this time at sea has given me a vast knowledge of marine engineering and onboard systems.
