| The fire is back | |
| It's got seats |
| Still not attached to the engine |
OK so here it is, the first updates since well into last year. Not that I have done a great deal at the moment, but I did attend the Chatham Show today, and there is some news.
Firstly, I have bought the bug again. Over the last few months, I have done nowt on the car since the job that is financing it has decided to take over all my time, leaving none for jobs on the Fury. Anyway, thinks have finally eased up a little, not a lot but a little. Today at the show, I sat in Mark Fishers Fury demonstrator, for the first time since I ordered one, and the fire was re-lighted. Anyway, now I have to push on and get the thing done. To this end I decided to splash out and get buy some seats. I sat in a couple of fury's that were there, and decided that the low seats were the ones for me since I don't poke over the top of the windscreen with them. Oh, and they were on special offer. Also managed to get a set of horns for the car, loud ones to remind lorries that I am there. Anyway, I must now crack on with the car and make the thing happen. However, tonight I took a look at it and the engine still looks too high, and it wont fit. A call to Mark Fisher is in order I feel.
The show itself was much like last year, ok it was almost identical to last year, with all the same people in the same places. This did make it easy to find things though! Outside the main hall there were the usual array of cars on display, although there was not an owner in sight. The reason for this was quite simple, it was too bloody cold. There appeared to be a lot more people walking around this year, although that may well be since they were inside and not outside as they were previously.
