The club was formed in 1975 with an airgun section only. It was setup in cooperation with the police to give kids an opportunity to use airguns responsibly instead of on the streets.

As our membership grew, a smallbore section was started using the Key Glass rifle range. We then moved to the Territorial Army range where we now shoot airguns and .22 rifles, most Wednesdays from 19:30 till 21:30.

Practical shotgun was started in 1995 and has grown in popularity, especially since the government decided we could not be trusted with pistols. It is now the largest section of the club.
We run UKPSA championship and grader competitions, monthly practice shoots and several basic and range officer instruction courses each year.
You'll find the dates for all our shotgun meetings in the shotgun section.
