The Rail Bridge This is a view of the Bridge from St David's Bay in early Jan 1998. Designed by Benjamin Baker and completed in 1890 the bridge is an impressive entrance way into Fife. It is built of steel and required over 54,000 tons. Fifty-seven men were killed during the 7 years of its construction.
