BMB CULMATE
This is Three Shires Section member Kevin Phillips doing a spot of ploughing with his BSA- powered BMB Cultmate during one of our section play days.

BARFORD,GUNSMITH &RANSOMES.
Kevin Phillips leads the way into the display ring with his Barford Atom 30, closely followed by Harry Laxton on Gunsmith and Cliff Laxton on Ransomes MG2. This photo was taken at Stoke Goldington steam rally in the mid 1990,s.

Bolens Tractors
These pair of Bolens tractors belong to Sandy&Roger Stockham and are seen ploughing at Biggleswade. The green tractor was imported from America and dates from 1957.


British Anzani Iron Horse conversion.
This tractor is a conversion of the popular 2 wheel garden tractor .the machine was built as a 2 wheel tractor in 1946 and converted in the mid 1960,s and after being found in somerset were it was used on a steep hillside now belongs to Dave Weeley.
OLDACRE GARDEN TRACTOR
This machine belongs to Dave Weeley and was built in America and is quite rare in the uk, little is known about it so Dave is looking to find out more info on the machine.
CAPCO TRACTOR
Rare capco garden tractor and unusual trusty mk1 steed with twin cylinder J.A.P engine, both owned by Dave Weeley are among the machines seen in this line up.

Milton Keynes Rally 2001: Seen in this picture are various machines belonging to members of the Three Shires Section, including Mayfield, British Anzani Iron Horse, BMB Cultmates and Hoemate and Barford Atom.

Crawley 75 Diesel
Dave Weeley is seen ploughing with his Crawley 75,powered by a petter diesel engine .The plough is a Ransomes TS42 single furrow model.

1951 TRUSTY STEED MK1
This trusty steed mk1, owned by Dave Weeley is a rare model to see on any rally field, Dave's tractor being even more so as it was fitted from new with a J.A.P 55 twin cylinder engine and other differences from the standard model. Only two were made to this specification and this is the only survivor, although a few of the standard single cylinder models are in preservation.

L.E.N. SPECIAL
This is a one off special owned by Dave Weeley. It was built by a gentleman who had had enough of walking behind the larger 2 wheeled machines, so decided to build a tractor to suit his needs. It is powered by a 850cc mini car engine. The mini gearbox is linked to a triumph herald car gearbox and then to a triumph back axle. It has a hydraulic linkage to lift the 42 inch rotovator also made from a car axle ,this time a ford anglia.

CRAWLEY 75 PETROL
This is Kevin Phillips Crawley 75 tractor as found, it has a J.A.P model 5 petrol engine ,centrifugal clutch and three speed gearbox. Built by crawley metal productions ltd ,Crawley,Sussex in the mid 1950's it could be supplied with many different implements. It also had the option of a diesel engine.
