Coys Historic Festival July 1999

Coys historic festival once again took over the Silverstone racing circuit for 3 days this July.  The racing events included the usual broad Coys range, including some spirited Jaguar C and D type, and Lister-Jaguar racing over the weekend, and some Rally racing on the new Roger Clark circuit.  The festival's theme this year was the BRM, with a major display of many significant cars, and demonstration runs of many, including the awesome 1.5 ltr turbocharged V16, and the rather more successful later Formula 1 cars raced by Jackie Stewart.  Glorious weather made for an excellent show.  However, there were so many people there, none of the W&NO region attending managed to meet each other!
