Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club Warwickshire and North Oxfordshire Region
Ragley Hall May 1999

We've attended this for the last four years or so.  Ragley Hall itself is an impressive stately home near Alcester, Warwickshire.  It has some excellent gardens and a large estate.  Each year there's a Classic Car and Transport festival organized by Transtar Promotions, which attracts a large number of car enthusiasts of all makes, both as exhibitors and as spectators.  Each year, we've had an excellent large W&NO display, and 1999 was no exception, with many of the region members cars including XJ6s, XJSs and an XK120, and several guests from other regions including a couple of Mark IIs and a couple of E types.

We've won the "Best display" every year we've attended so far; this year was no exception; thankfully John stayed behind to collect the trophy.

The weather was dull and cold, and spoilt what in the past has been a most enjoyable day out.
