Max Richards has accumulated a vast collection
of slides of military vehicles - about 30,000
photos.
He brought along a small subset covering
the history of tanks from the first world
war to the present day, and accompanied them
with an insightful talk and some amusing
anecdotes about the ways you get to photograph
vehicles in military collections in sensitive
foreign countries. Max does these talks
for charity, so we treated this month's subscriptions
as donations for his favourite cause; raising
the useful sum of £40. |
