Character Building

Introduction

"Character Building" is the heart of discipline, and discipline, of course, is a very touchy subject! The best way to teach of course is always by example, but it goes without saying that parents rarely epitomise the characters that they would like to see in their children. Ultimately, I hope that our children will become disciples of Yeshua rather than merely of their parents, and so it seems to me that the basis of our study of character must be the Bible.

I say "study", because I do think that my poor example would be totally inadquate, and without looking more deeply into what God wants our characters to become, we're not going to get very far.
