Tangerine and orange notes within an overall floral nose and taste.
In 19th century Worcestershire’s industrial north, many cottages bore the sign "Wobble Sold Here".
Sold to mainly colliers, ironworkers and others involved in hot dusty work, Wobble was obtained from Black Country small brewers at 1˝ shillings a bucket.
Foundries supplied barrels of water flavoured with barley for their workers’ loss of perspiration, but the men often preferred to creep out for a pail of Wobble instead.
