Monumental Inscriptions for Walkers in Rillington and West Heslerton.

The following MI's are for WALKER's from West Heslerton and Rillington and one from South Africa.
Graveyard, West Heslerton.
"In loving memory of Robert Walker who departed this life May 30th 1826 aged 79 years.
Eleanor his wife who died April 27th 1786 aged 37 years and Eleanor, daughter of the above who died June 26th 1800 aged 21 years.
Also Elizabeth, wife of William Hesp. and daughter of the above Robert and Eleanor Walker who died February 24th 1827.
And three grandchildren of Robert and Eleanor Walker who died in infancy

Parish church of St. Andrew. Rillington.
"In loving memory of Mary wife of Edward Walker who died March 21st 1873 aged 56 years".
No known connection with my WALKER's.
"In loving memory of Emmaline, beloved wife of Francis Walker of Rillington who died October 29th 1918 aged 58 years.
Also Francis Walker, husband of the above, died April 5th 1937 aged 83 years - At rest".
This is the grave of my great grand-parents.
West Park, Johannesburg, South Africa.
"Sgt. R. Walker, 1438266, 9644"
This is the grave or Ronald Walker, my fathers brother who died on 9th June 1944 after been taken ill on a troop ship. This is a war grave (no.205), hence the brief inscription.
