Space Patrol use two types of robot. One is a larger, multi-functional version that can carry out many different tasks. The other is a smaller version, usually specialised in one function.

Type One Robot


Key to diagram:
•1 Transmission Aerial - keeps the robot in touch with Robot Control by sending its position and current function.
•2 Sensor Eye.
•3 Receptors - receives orders and updates from Robot Control, as well as audio and voice recognition.
•4 Secondary Sensor Unit - contains additional sensory receptors similar to smell (atmospheric sampling and testing), taste (substance and chemical analysis) as well as the vocal unit.
•5 Guidance Unit
•6 Manipulator Clamps
•7 Motive Unit
•8 Motive Pylon - structured and balanced to mimic human locomotion but with enhanced strength and speed
•9 Flexible Balancing Pad
