Astro Viewer Working:
In our opinion, the cover is one of the most beautifully composed and illustrated artworks to be based on Space Patrol.
As with the publicity text for the robot (see Publicity Photos), 'Mak' is referred to as an 'elektran'.
The asteroid Omega is seen in the fourth TV Comic story.
The 'peculiar plant creatures' are quite obviously Duos from Uranus, and are depicted as being purple in colour.
As with the cover of the Colouring Book, Gabbler is shown to be reddish in colour.
Continuity with Venus is maintained, with a smoking volcano seen in the background.
However, the same image suggests Marla is part of the Galasphere 347 crew.
Husky and Slim are seen riding 'hover-jets' which are more reminiscent of the ones used by the Treens in Dan Dare, and as this predates the strip in The Beezer, this may have been the inspiration for a similar design used in the first story.
The final page, showing 'traffic control' on Jupiter, would appear to have nothing to do with the series at all, but could have been inspired by the Secret Weapon storybook.
