Save Loads Of Cash By Making Your Own Wedding Stationary, Here We Show You How To Make A Lovely Table Plan, Your Own Menus and Place-Cards

With the amount of choice available, we won't go into details about how to choose your wedding stationary. However you can save some money by making some of it yourself. All you need is a good printer, good paper, and lots of ideas borrowed from the sample books in wedding shops! Be prepared for lots of mistakes, but you will be pleasantly surprised if you persevere. Please find below examples of Wedding menus, table plans and place cards.

Our Menu

The frame came from a pound shop, and the menu is printed on photo paper for the professional finish. Anything is possible, invites, table plans, etc. Be prepared for some long nights in though! We use Print Shop and Photoshop Elements software, coupled with an old PII pc, and an Epson printer.

Our Table Plan

Wedding Table Plan

This is the table plan we made for our wedding breakfast, using a gold frame, cream border, with cream details mounted on gold card.

To download the file with the names on, click here, on on the picture below. (This is a Word document, so you can only edit the Head Table, as the round tables are inserted pictures.) This is a large file (280k) so will take a couple of minutes to download.

To create the round tables, you'll need the file below. (Click on the picture below, or here to download it.) The file is in Adobe Photoshop / Elements format (.psd) So you'll need a programme that can edit this sort of file (Photoshop / Elements, etc.). Then you can print them out on nice paper to be put into your table plan!

Our place cards

Place cards are available at most good stationary stores, we chose ivory with a gold border. To print the names onto them we bought some transparent stickers (from our local PC superstore) and printed them out, then stuck them on. The final touch was a small silk rose glued onto the corner of each card, we found them in a local craft store.
