YOUTH ACTIVITIES

Highbury Youth Theatre
Highbury Youth Theatre meets on Sunday afternoons (2.15 - 4.15pm) for young people aged 14 to 18 years.
The aim is to introduce young people to good theatre, to show theatre as a place for enjoyment and to learn as a team the fun and excitement of putting on a play. The work is arranged to enrich the group's understanding of both theatre and their everyday lives - in particular the value of personal relationships.
The Youth Theatre present performances in the Studio Theatre and an annual production takes place in July in the main auditorium. Members may also audition for parts in the main productions.
There are regular workshops and working alongside other Midlands Youth Theatres.
Members may work for LAMDA examinations and have access to the National Association of Youth Theatres' workshops.
Highbury Youth Theatre usually has a waiting list for new members and early application is advised. For further information contact
