We take a look at Chelmsford in the late 1800's when Marconi decided to set up wireless telegraph factories in the town.

In 1898 the first wireless factory was established in Hall Street.

By 1912 the company had grown too large for the factory in New Street. Here we cover the development of the New Street site.
