Bee Swarm Collection

If you are in North Lincolnshire and concerned about a swarm of bees that has settled near you then telephone John G on 01469-530363 or John H on 01469-531029 from Goxhill for assistance.

As members of the British Beekeepers’ Association we make a charge to cover our expenses – primarily mileage – but otherwise we offer our services without charge. We are covered by the BBKA Public Liability Insurance policy.

It helps us to know the following information when you ring us:

*   That the creatures are indeed honeybees. We cannot collect wasps or hornets and most other bees are relatively solitary and harmless – but we would still need to charge mileage if we attend.

*   The position of the swarm or cluster of bees - e.g. whether on the ground, the height if in a tree or bush, how accessible it is.

*   When the swarm arrived.

*   The size of the cluster – e.g. tennis ball, football, (spacehopper !).

*   Address/location of the swarm and telephone number of the owner/occupier.
