Confirmed Club Events for 2008
April 12th - Our Soccer School starts
today for children not already registered with another club. Starts at
11:30 and ends 13:00 for boys 6-9 and girls 8-10. Participation costs £1
per child with the first session free.
May 4th - Managers monthly meeting.
May 16th - Club Presentation Night at The Ocean Room. Doors open from 18:30 for players/members and entry price this year is £1 for U16's, £2 for adults and of course, players get in free. Prompt arrival please as the trophy presentation starts at 19:00.
June 8th - Club AGM - this will again be held in the Benacre Room at the Burrage Centre Gorleston. Please remember to bring your managers handbooks and New Road keys with you and we hope to start promptly at 19:15.
June 29th - Bohemians mini-soccer tournament for Girls - see the tournament page for details.
July 6th - Managers monthly meeting.
July 19th & 20th Bohemians mini-soccer tournament for Boys - see the tournament page for details.
August 3rd - Monthly managers meeting.
September 6th - Club Coaching Day at Cliff Park High School in conjunction with Norfolk County F.A.
September 7th - Monthly managers meeting.
October 5th - Monthly managers meeting.
November 2nd - Monthly managers meeting.
December 6th - Victorian Market - Boh's will be having a stall at the Victorian Market being held at the Kingfisher Bar Burgh Castle. This event is being staged by the Belton & Browston and Burgh Castle events committee and one which the club are proud to support. Donations of prizes for our stall will be greatly appreciated as would an hour of your time if you are willing to help out. Please contact David Eley regarding donations or offers of help on 01493 789131, alternatively, you can always drop off your donations at New Road on Saturday mornings.
December 7th - Monthly managers meeting.
December 27th - Christmas Party at the Kings Head Belton. We have taken over the function room on the side of the Kings Head and entertainment is being provided for our younger members by Roys Disco. The room will be open from 18:00 with entertainment from 6:30 until 11:00. During the evening there will be games for the young people with prizes and a prize bingo for those of us who are slightly older!! There will also be a raffle and light finger buffet all for the price of a £1 per head ticket (payable on the door). Team managers are asked to supply a raffle prize for the evening - nothing extravagant (unwanted Christmas presents are accepted!!).
