The churchyard at St Michael and All Angels, Nether Wasdale, Cumberland where Jane Mossop (1778-1821) nee Hodgson was buried 23rd May 1821.

There is no headstone for Jane.

Janes husband, Matthew Mossop (1776-1799), is also buried in this churchyard and his MI is on the family headstone. He was buried 23rd July 1799.

This is the area of St Johns Churchyard, Cleator Moor, Cumberland where William Mossop (1803-1879) was buried on the 13th February 1879.

There is no headstone for William.

William (1834-1901) & Ann (1835-1909) nee Porter, grave A16 in St Catherines Churchyard, Eskdale, Cumberland.

William was buried 2nd March 1901 and Ann 24th July 1909.

MI reads: In loving memory of William Mossop of Eskdale Green who died Feb 27th 1901 aged 67 years. Also Ann his wife died July 22nd 1909 aged 74 years.

William (1851-1851) & Ellen (1857-1859), children of Isaac (1829-1883) & Jane (1829-1910) nee Douglas, the grave is in the "old" St Johns Churchyard, Hensingham, Cumberland.

The MI is on the foot of the headstone of Eleanor Stables a widow who died October 20th 1854.

William was buried 10th October 1851 and Ellen on the 16th February 1859.

MI reads: William the son of Isaac & Jane Mossop who died Oct 8th 1851 aged 19 weeks. Also Ellen their daughter who died February 13th 1859 aged 14 months.

Henry (1868-1932) & Amanda Eleanor (1870-1961) nee Cregeen, grave TA5 in Hensingham Cemetery.

Henry was buried 11th August 1932 and Amanda 1st March 1961.

John (1897-1978) & Rebecca (1896-1960) nee Watson, grave M ext 4 in Hensingham Cemetery.

John was buried 30th January 1978 and Rebecca 13th June 1960.

Serjeant Fred Mossop D.C.M. & Bar M.M.(1896-1917) Hermies Hill British Cemetery, France, grave 1.F.37.

Fred was killed in action 30th December 1917.

Fred was the son of Charlie & Emily Ann (nee Vickers).

The family addition to the headstone reads:
Greater love
Hath no man than this
To lay down his life
For a friend
