Mary Jane was born on the 28th July 1838 at Hensingham, Cumberland. She was the daughter of William and Ann (nee Douby).
She was baptised on the 5th August 1838 at St Johns, Hensingham.
On the 1841 census she is shown living at Hensingham with her parents and brothers.
She married John Malkinson on the 9th March 1875 in the Register Office, Whitehaven, Cumberland. He was the son of Thomas and Jane (nee Foster), he was born in 1837 at Low Mill, Cumberland.
They had no children.
I have no known occupation for Mary Jane.
She died in Streetons Terrace, Hensingham on the 12th May 1911, her burial took place on the 15th May 1911 in Hensingham cemetery, she has no headstone.
John died in High Row, Hensingham in 1907, his burial took place in 1907 (there is no date in the cemetery register) in Hensingham cemetery, he has no headstone.

On the 1891 and 1901 census she is shown living at High Row, Hensingham with her husband.
