Gair gan y Rheolwr Prosiect (Ian Williams):

Dwi'n gobeithio eich bod wedi mwynhau darllen am y prosiect hwn ac edrych ar y lluniau sy'n dangos y trawsnewid syfrdanol a fu i'r cwt band.

Yn ystod y cyfnod cynllunio, dylunio ac adeiladu rydym wedi ceisio cadw cymaint o gymeriad yr hen felin ac roedd yn bosib.

Er fod cadwraeth yng nghefn ein meddyliau ar bob achlysur, mae rhai nodweddion wedi eu hychwanegu megis y twr ar y tô ond, ran amlaf, crewyd y dyluniad newydd i weddu gyda siap a maint yr adeilad gwreiddiol.

Ni ellir cloi'r stori heb ddiolch i'r canlynol:

- Yr holl unigolion a'u teuluoedd sydd wedi cyfrannu eu hamser a'u hymdrechion ac yn rhai achosion, eu harian gloywon eu hunain, i sicrhau llwyddiant y prosiect.

Mae'n diolch yn enfawr i'r canlynol:

- Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru
( prif grant y prosiect: £263,364 & grant arall o £18,420)

- Cyngor Gwynedd
(grant o : £40,000)

- Y sefydliad er budd Chwaraeon a Chelfyddyd
(grant o: £8,454)

Ac wrth gwrs………

- Yr unigolion rheini o blith Pwyllgor y Band ac aelodau'r band fu'n chwarae eu rhan hwythau yn y prosiect i sicrhau ei lwyddiant.

A Note From The Project Manager:

I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed reading about this project and looking at the photographs which show the dramatic transformation of the Bandroom.

During the planning, design and construction stages we have attempted to preserve as much as was physically possible of the existing Hen Felin.

Although conservation was always at the back of our minds, some new characteristics have been added such as the roof tower (cupola) but overall, the new design has been formulated to complement the existing shape and size of the building.

The story cannot be finished without thanking the following:

- All the individuals and families who have contributed their own time and efforts and in some cases, their hard-earned money, towards ensuring the success of this project.

Enormous gratitude goes to the following:

- The Arts Council of Wales
(main project grant: £263,364 & supplementary grant of £18,420)

- Gwynedd Council
(grant: £40,000)

- The Foundation for Sport & The Arts
(grant: £8,454)

and of course………

- those individuals on the Band Committee and the playing members of the Band who have "played their part" (excuse the pun) to ensure that the Project has been a success
