Breaking News:
We apologise for the state of the Porch but we have suffered a series of destructive thefts. There have now been three four unsuccessful attempts to steal the lead from the roof over the Porch and the guttering over the Sacristy. In each case, the lead has been recovered. However, it has left the porch, office, toilet and Sacristy areas without protection from the rain, and the electrics have had to be isolated due to water ingress. Although the value of the lead removed is only a few thousand pounds, the repairs to this listed, medieval church and its hand-made tiles will run into several tens of thousands of pounds, and will take some time to effect.
Please bear with us during this period.
Latest News - A temporary felt roof has now been fitted and the porch area is drying out. This gives us the opportunity to redesign this area before the proper roof is installed.
