You can down load a free copy of crocodile clips basic. This has simple electrical and some electronic circuits that you can revise with and use in your write up. Go to the 'I want to try out software' section on the righthand side of the screen. You can either use the set circuits or make your own. The download takes about 6 minutes and is easy to sort out. Versions for windows and macs.
