A walk through the pretty village of Cambuskennth, set in a loop of the river forth adjacent to the city of Stirling. |

back and more easterly, Dumyat Hill and the other tops of the Ochils. At the foot of these hills are the mill
towns of Menstrie, Alva, Tillicoultry, and Dollar. |

west is the City of Stirling, with the Castle and the refurbished banqueting
hall, and the buildings of the old town. |

Proceeding
through the village the first turn on the right goes into Ferry Orchard. |

and slightly right behind the large tree is the old apple store, now
converted into a dwelling. |

At the bottom of South Street, the opening on the left leads to the recreation park. Beyond is the “Ferryman’s Cottage”, and beyond that on the right is the bridge. |

The park with swings and climbing frames etc. There are picnic tables, and football goal posts. |
