The Demonic Brotherhood of Kawne
This isn't a representation of a Khorne army... :)
Having got that out of the way, this army is made up of blood-thirsty demons and has a very strong tilt towards the red end of the spectrum. The majority of the army is warband and beasts, impetuous elements liable to break ranks and charge forward to their doom - a deliberate choice. That's one of the great things about Hordes; since an army requires very few figures, and a game only takes 30 minutes or so, you can make an army which is 'sub-optimal'. If you're playing Warhammer (to pick on the most popular game out there) and spending £200+ on figures where a game takes 3 hours, the last thing you want is an army that isn't competitive.

Hero General: Demon Prince
West Wind's Lucifer Wars range supplied the figure for the demonic hero. I replaced the sword he carried with an axe from Heresy's Boris, to tie in with the axes carried by the lesser demons.
Warband: Lesser Demons
The bulk of the army - these are Minotaur figures produced by Pendraken, painted bright red and given blue manes and weapons to make them stand out as being un-natural and demonic.
Beast: Demonic Hounds
There is a game called Zombies which comes with a hundred soft plastic zombie figures. There is also an expansion set which has a hundred zombie dogs. These elements are those dogs, undercoated black and heavily dry brushed in reds and oranges. I have also painted up a few in 'real' zombie dog colours for a friend of mine with an undead HOTT army, and they are very effective.
Flyer: Harpies
Games Workshop harpies from the Warmaster ranges; again, these are painted red and blue.
Stronghold: Sacrifice Stone
Ainsty make a lot of resin scenery, particularly walls, floors and suchlike. This is a single piece from one of their excellent ranges.
Options for later
At some point I will paint a magician as an option to replace the demon prince; that way the army can do service as a summoned horde as well as a demon invasion.
