January Painting

Once again, a new year. My painting in 2007 rather faded out, but hopefully a new year will get me going again. So far it seems to have, with a new start in a new period and a new scale.

Twenty-three bases of 10mm WW2 French for Blitzkrieg Commander. A few of us at the Warlords have decided to try out BKC; early war, two German players, one French, one British and one Polish. Plenty more to come; this is about a third of what I have bought already, and I think I will need to buy almost as much again. On show are an infantry battalion (9 infantry, 2 machine gun and 2 anti-tank guns) and a light armoured battalion (9 H35 tanks, and a 10th on a round base as an HQ). The figures are all from Pithead, and paint up easily.

A generic Greater Daemon for my 40k Chaos. It was a Spawn figure, made of soft plastic and sold in the local comic shop for a few quid; A spray undercoat and a quick repaint is a lot cheaper than buying the 'official' figure!
