Pulp

January 2007, and for some reason I've been hooked by the Pulp idea - 1930s America and interwar Europe, prohibition and the depression, gangsters and masked vigilantes, dinosaur hunting and exploration - with half an eye on some Wierd World War 2 (WWW2) stuff as well. I have decided to go for it on a small scale and have a look at some of the rules and figures currently on the market.

May 2007 update - At my club (Warlords), a half dozen of us have decided to have a bit of a bash at Contemptible Little Armies, Back of Beyond and suchlike so I will be producing more figures for the period. I have chosen the Germans, since I already have a few painted up. The idea is to have a version of history that can include some elements of VSF as well, such as huge land ironclads, zeppelin fleets and tunneling machines.

I will separate the pages in this section into 'Civilian' (interwar gangsters, cultists and two-fisted adventure), 'Military' (troops and army vehicles) and 'Rules' (whatever rulesets we decide to use) - hopefully that will be enough.
