Bucklands Beetle Page is Changing......

Well its 2008 and I thought its time to update my site again. At the moment not all of the links work but some do,I just dont seem to find the times these days to sort it out. Its been a long while since I have updated everything and I have been finding it harder all the time to find time to update this when I have to keep working on my VWs, I have been driving project Fastback as my daily driver and I covered almost 5000 miles with only a few minor adjustments. I bought a mk3 VW Golf in May 2005(keeping it in the vw family) so stopped driving the fastback as much, only using it once a week, put it through another MOT and it passed fine, the fastback has now been sold (on the 28th of august 2005) just a little over 2 years after I first bought it.

My beloved beetle is under going a restoration at the moment but has been on hold for ages now because of other projects and the need for more funds. I have alot of Ideas which arnt expencive but as im doing the whole project myself, welding, spraying, mechanics, new engine & interior, mostly new parts. One day my beetle is back together, Im hoping 2008/9 somewhen! I keep pushing the deadline forward - it`ll be cool when its done.

In the past 13 months I have noticed how other people change your life, I started seeing someone and my world changed, I make alot of comprimise for the girl I love and as a conciquence it pushes my projects further and further on hold. I also have been evolving my project ideas a fair amount, but looking after my golf, a beetle, the camper and seeing the g/f it gets tough to find the time to finish one, by which time I have found something else to do on top of that!

Estimated Beetle Completion: I keep pushing this further and further forward, first it was bugjam 05 then october 1 year after being taken off the road, it was going to be 2006 but my lifes changing, maybe bugjam 2008? volksworld 2009? its going to need filling and spraying, which cant be done outside in england at this time of year!!!
