Pinouts for the 12 pin connector. Numbers taken as if you are looking directly at the back of the Satnav unit.
Top Left Pin 1 - Not Connected Pin 2 - Not Connected Pin 3 - Green/Yellow Pin 4 - Green/Red Pin 5 - Blue/White - VSP, Vehicle Speed Pulse Pin 6 - Green - Reverse signal
Bottom Left Pin 7 - Not Connected Pin 8 - Red/Black Pin 9 - Black - Ground Pin 10 - Black/Yellow - ALT, Alternator signal Pin 11 - Yellow/Red - Power (IGN) Pin 12 - White - Power Constant.
If you want the easiest option, you can wire the 2 power connections directly from the 20 Pin connector. This will have the Const Power and IGN Power as the CD player needs this!
If anyone does this please make notes and pictures. I would like to provide a better guide but need your help as I have little spare time for projects!
Many thanks. |
