	Brief glimpse is a highly detailed giclee print of a Snow Leopard in the high Himalaya. The cat is depicted just into its spring-summer coat and the snow is thin on the ground. The glitter and shadow texture of the snow has been created using goache over watercolour to give sparkle and the cats fur appears thick and warm. A brief glimpse of a Snow Leopard in the wild is highly unlikely and it would never be more than that. In this painting the leopard looks down the mountain valley taking a moment to rest before melting off the ledge.
