Charles Ablett (b. 1767). All we know about him is that he was a soldier. He died in January 1836 at Albion Street, Liverpool.
Ann Gibson (b. 1777 in Ranleigh Street, Liverpool) She married Charles Ablett on 2 October 1797 at St Peter’s, Liverpool. She died on 30 July 1837 in Harford Street, Liverpool
They had nine children, one of who was [William Ablett] The other was Charles Ablett (b. 1814-1883)*
* Charles had a daughter called called Ellen
Ablett (b. 1836-1877). Ellen had four chidren but never married. One of her
sons was called Charles Ablett (b. 1860-1946). He married an Elizabeth Jane
Sutherland. She is pictured on the left of these pictures at Ablett’s Tea Rooms in Birkenhead.
Apparently, the family had several such businesses.
