LANZAROTE
Lanzarote is 70 miles off the coast of Africa. The island is approximately 37 miles long and 12 miles wide.
The island is the fourth largest island in the Canaries. It enjoys a mild dry climate and is a perfect place for holidays all year round. Lanzarote is volcanic and parts of the island still have a volcanic moon like landscape. Parts of the film Planet of the Apes were shot here. Despite the volcanic nature of the island there are also many lovely beaches.
