1. New Miracle Scenes - for eleven-piece ensemble: Ensemble FIREBIRD are conducted by Barrie Webb from the 1995 2nd-year undergraduate concert series at Huddersfield University in May 1995.
2. Dark Blow - for solo electric guitar, played by Canadian virtuoso guitarist Tim Brady in the Young Composers Award workshops from the 1998 Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival.
3. Miss the Lift - for six-piece band consisting clarinet, piano, viola, double bass, harp and percussion: Ensemble FIREBIRD are conducted by Barrie Webb (clarinet is Michael Heaton) from the Huddersfield 1996 3rd-year undergraduate concert series.
4. Bloody - for wind quintet, performed live in St Pauls Hall, Huddersfield by the Mike Barlow wind quintet.
5 and 6. Meritocracy - for piano/keyboard, electric guitar, trumpet, percussion, clarinet and soprano voice. Ensemble FIREBIRD are conducted by Barrie Webb and the solo singer is Alison Wells in this 1998 Huddersfield post-graduate concert series.
7. String Quartet - from the 1994 first-year undergraduate workshop given by the Malcolm Layfield Quartet.
8. Organ Sonata - from 1991, played by Greg Fox

Please note that the musicians involved in the recording of these pieces were not paid, due to the events being part of undergraduate and post-graduate study, festival workshops and suchlike free events. Therefore I cannot justify charging for the music. The cost of this CD is therefore just Ł2 which covers the cost of global post and packaging. Total time 70m38s.
