Carmen of the Spheres C-side "(Trying to avoid) Saturn Distraction"

You are looking at "Carmen of the Spheres" for nine sine waves totalling 64 minutes 12.246 seconds for stereo speakers, plus its B-side, C-side and D-side.

This is the C-side to the "CD single" set. Unlike the A-side, "(Trying to avoid) Saturn Distraction" models the moons of Saturn as heard by standing on the planet. The procedure is the same but the results sound much more reflective and more obviously phase-based. The raw WAV files for the moons are published via the Internet Archive page for the piece. Interestingly, Phoebe orbits in retrograde motion. This is reflected in the piece by reversing the order of the pitches.
