Pompa Funebris, volume 2a

A meditation on ten melodic sine-wave components of ten events each. The piece consists of every combination of these in groups of two, plus a selection of groups of three based on the count from one to ten wrapping around the space of three (123, 456, 789, 10-12, 345, 678, 9-10-1, 234, 567, 89-10).

The piece is indeterminate and hopes to illustrate how when two melodic fragments are randomly combined, the chances of consonant-sounding results rather than dissonant-sounding ones are actually greater than 50/50.

This volume of the 'Pompa Funebris' is for Max Andersson and is taken in one sitting, preferably in bed with the duvet pulled up. Not too loud and televisions across the neighbourhood OFF please.
