Front Cover
The Stark White
In a direct contrast to the Magical Mystery Tour LP the
groups next album featured a bare, white cover with the
only features on the front cover being the name of the group
embossed and an individual number. You have to wonder why
it's white, especially since the dead are buried in white
shrouds.
He Be Ice?
If
you hold a mirror up to the phrase 'The BEATLES' on the
front cover so that the bottom half is being mirrored, it
gives the message 'He BE ICE' alongside the number 3. Who
exactly is 'like ice'? Paul McCartney? Also, just like in
the Magical Mystery Tour booklet, the back cover of Abbey
Road and other examples, we're given the number 3. Why are
we being told numerous times about '3' or '3 Beatles'?

The Back Cover
No individual clues have been found yet
on the back cover.

The Gatefold
The Sombre
Nature
The inner gatefold gives a very sombre atmosphere and does
not emit the happiness found on earlier covers. It's also
in the same kind of layout as an obituary or message of
mourning. But for whom?

The Portrait
The
Scar
4
inidividual photos of the band members also came with the original
copies of the LP. This is Pauls and gives us our first really detailed
picture of Paul after 1966. If you look closely you can see a scar
on his upper lip which was allegedly caused by the plastic surgery
William went through to turn him completely into a McCartney double.

The Poster
The Passport Photo
At
the bottom left of the poster there's a photo of somebody who looks
an awful lot like Paul. Could this have been the application photo
that William Campbell used for his McCartney look-alike competition
entry form? |

The Arms
At
the bottom right there is a photo of Paul dancing and what appears
to be two dishevelled looking arms reaching out around his waist.
It's been said that this is merely a fold in the negative, but is
that was the case then why does the right arm look to be going behind
McCartney? Is this the Grim Reaper reaching out to claim his next
victim? |

The Joke?
Just
to the right of the center of the poster we're shown this weird
photo of a dead looking Paul in drivers cap and scarf. Could this
have been a photo taken of William joking around about Paul being
dead? |
