Past Masters II

Day Tripper
"Got a good reason for taking the easy way out."
Taking the easy way out? As in replacing the dead McCartney with a replacement rather than tell the world of his passing? What was their good reason for doing so?

Lady Madonna
"Wednesday morning papers didn't come."
If you remember the story, a newspaper journalist discovered the story of Paul's death and was all set to report it that morning but a heavy bribe from Brian Epstein meant that all papers were destroyed for that day, hence why the Wednesday morning papers never came.

Get Back
"Get back! Get back! Get back to where you once belonged."
If this line is played backwards Paul is heard to be singing "Help me! Help me! I need some wheels!". 'wheels' is slang in the UK for a car so why is Paul seemingly looking for a new one? Is it possibly because his last one was written off in the smash?

Let It Be
"I woke up to the sound of music, mother Mary comes to me."
Could this be Paul awaking in heaven and being greeted with heavenly music with his mother (who had passed on when he was 14) welcoming him?

"Let it be, let it be. Let it be, let it be..."
If the chorus to this song is played backwards you can quite clearly heard Paul singing "He's dead" over and over. It's almost like he's saying "He's dead, let it be!", as if telling us to get over it.

You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)
There is a phone number supposedly read out during this song - I've been told that you can hear it immediately after the sound of a cuckoo clock. Apparently if this number was dialled the caller would get the message "Beware of Abbey Road" before the line went dead. I've listened for it but currently can't hear it - has anybody else had more luck?
