Rubber Soul

Nowhere Man
"He's a real nowhere man, sitting in his nowhere land."
Is Paul the nowhereman since his identity has been ripped away from him? Is the nowhere land where he now rests in peace?

Girl
"Would she still believe it when he's dead?"
When who's dead? Could this be about Jane Asher, Paul's then fianceé? Would she believe that Paul was dead when she was told?

I'm Looking Through You
"You don't sound different, I've learned the game."
Possibly the words of someone who found out about the switch? Although the new McCartney sounded identical they still found out?

"I'm looking through you, you're not the same."
Again, possibly the words of someone who discovered the switch? They saw through his plastic surgery and knew he wasn't the same McCartney?

In My Life
"With lovers and friends I still can recall. Some are dead and some are living."
Well, it's plural, so who could the dead friends be? We know that Stuart is one of them, but who is the other...?

Wait
"We'll forget the tears we cried."
Are the group having to forget about the past and the death of their friend so that they can focus more on the future?
