Footsteps from vicars hall above when empty
Shadow moving across corridor by side cold preparation kitchen
Inner door into café making a banging noise and shadow moving towards
door
6.00pm – had not told of shadow moving across corridor but Steve A
saw something
move across just after he came in and again at 6.20pm – moved from
kitchen entrance to wall opposite in corridor.
7.30pm – Séance – just before Steve A and Jo heard what sounded
like two wine bottles being clinked
together twice. During séance 3 clicks heard but cannot rule out kitchen equipment
causing it.
7.35pm – Dave t saw something like a dark figure in back room move
across from right hand wall to left by big freezer, he saw it block of
reflection on fridge. Dave t felt something touch his pocket at end of séance
but cannot rule out may have felt like it were he moved slightly. Dave t also
saw a blue light flash near front inner door.
During séance David also saw a figure move across back room at a
different time to Dave t and at a different time a light move across the back
room.
9.25pm – Three of us went out front of building David and Steve A
were near cold preparation kitchen when we had left they then heard footsteps
walking across main café area and the inner door bang. We had a camcorder
recording the trigger object but afraid it has not picked up the sounds as in a
different area
9.40pm – after trying glass moving and calling out from front café
got no results but reviewing camcorder from middle kitchen had a loud noise on
that sounds like a cow mooing.
Steve A had a sore throat at some points in evening and David felt
breathless.

Report of Prison Cells investigation at the Arundel Prison Cells
on 23.6.07
We started the investigation by having a séance in the main area
of the cells.
During the séance we were getting banging noises coming from up
above us so we started to ask questions out load and we were getting answers
via the banging which I found very interesting. We also had mediums within the
group come through with names of John Mold – butcher 1853, lives with Sarah, left jail and moved to
another, comes from Selsey at the moment
I have not checked if info is correct.
We also had someone have the feeling something was pulling on
their trousers around calf height
Also there was a feeling felt by quite a lot of the group of a
presence going round the outside of the group watching us.
We then set up a lock off camera in one of the cells known to be
active with trigger objects.
We then had a short break and split into 2 groups David taking a
group of 7 people including him and I took a group of 6 including myself.
David’s group went to the solitary cell and their findings are on
another report.
My group stayed in the main area but we all sat in one of the
cells after a short period of time people in the group were starting to see
something moving around outside the cell when one of the mediums got up to have
a look he touched the cell door and immediately moved a way from it saying he
felt very uneasy and did not like the feelings he had. At the same point
someone was filming and said they saw something on their camera standing the
other side of the door, several of us tried in turn standing at the door but
were not sure what they felt.
We then moved to one of the other cells where one of the mediums
tuned into a little girl who was not a prisoner but had been brought to the
cells for her own safety but we were not
able to get much more info than that at that point NOTE the little girl did speak to us later
via glass .moving.
We then stopped for a short 10 mins break the time was around
midnight.
We then started by having another séance but in our own groups.
David’s group sat and my group where
standing during the 2 séances During my
groups séance the person to my left was shaking we were holding hands so I could
feel it he also said he felt very hot which I also felt but we did notice there
were cold spots all around us which was strange. The person to my right
was swaying we were still holding hands
so I could feel this, I asked her why and she said “ its not me swaying” she
said it was me causing the hand movement which I was not at that point, we ended up touching a pillar with our hands
which neither of us had willingly done the feeling was that neither of us had
caused our hands to move but they were moving and only stopped when they made
contact with the pillar at that point we stopped as lots of us were getting the
same sort of experiences.
My group went straight to the solitary cell which seemed very
quite the only light we had in there was from the lcd of a video camera so you
could still see the outline of people but not their faces we tried asking out
for responses but nothing happened. We sat there talking for a bit then all of
a sudden there was a bang from within the cell and the sound of something
hitting the floor and rolling across it, the lady sitting to my left grabbed me
with freight. Myself and a few other
swore and turned on our torches after searching for a few minutes we found a
stone on the floor which I am not sure where it came from but very impressive
from my point of view but we did not get it happening on video but I did get it
on audio. We tried again to get a response again like that but it did not
happen which is a shame from my point of view.
After a short break we checked the trigger objects which had not
moved I have got to review the video to see if the compass has moved at all.
We then set ourselves up for glass moving David’s group started in
what is a cell set with videos where we had the trigger objects and my group
tried table tipping in the main area. We could here that within 10mins the
glass had started moving in the room with David’s group but with my group the
table tipping failed to start so we tried glass moving instead which within 5
min started we had lots of info come through also David’s group had lots of
info I will list all information at the end for people who don’t know about
glass moving I will explain.
You place a up turned tumbler glass on a table ask for protection
for the group from the spirit world each person sitting round the table places
a finger on the glass and you ask if there are any spirits there that wish to
make contact through this method if the glass moves you ask for it to move in a
circle motion round the table at this point each person sitting with a finger
on the glass must in turn take their finger off then place it back on to show
that they are not pushing it.
Then it’s a case of asking yes and no questions stop the glass if
you are male it keeps moving ask if it is female and to stop the glass moving
if it is and continue like that it takes a great deal of time to find out just
a small amount of info but it’s a very good form of contact with spirit.
After about an hour the 2 groups swapped where they were and we
continued with the glass moving at this point I was recording with a camcorder
what was happening the camcorder display said I had 86min of battery left but
after about 30min it died with the battery flat the spirit on the glass said it
was responsible for this as it was draining the power to use for itself which
is a common thing to happen batteries going flat very quickly on
investigations.
Till about 4.20am when most people wanted to stop.

Dear Steve and Dave
Thank you for welcoming us to the
Arundel prison cells.
I found the evening very
interesting, largely with the activity and it's strength, but moreover with the
development of the information we received. I have often experienced various
messages, names, dates and sketches which have been vague and difficult to link
together without 'making it fit' however, the information coming through from
the primary three spirits was given in such a way that, as a group of 7, would
have been impossible to manufacture.
Firstly, the banging sounds upon
arrival were so real that it took some time to be convinced they were not
explainable. Without your assurance of the building being totally empty I would
have disregarded any paranormal attachment to them.
Secondly, the presence I
felt in cell 3, of two or three people (I include myself in this number)
was so strong that I found it hard to leave without help from Tracey. The holds
on both my arms was heavy and an attempt, I believe, to make me listen. The
first sketch came very quickly without thought. Was this a sketch of the
spirit? or, with it being so similar to something in the building I had yet to
see, a validation of contact? When I eventually saw the mask I became aware
that this evening was going to require complete commitment as something
important was about to be revealed.
The seance around the pillars gave us
names and information regarding cell 3 and the time spent there. We also
learned that the prisoners were wrongly incarcerated and a brief description of
why. It appeared to me that all three spirits were all desperate to speak at
once as the information was garbled.
Our vigil in the solitary cell gave us
very different contact. Again there was banging and the sounds of someone on
the stairs, but other than a fisherman there was no further details regarding
the principle three spirits.In the darness I sketched a face at the door
hatch but was unable to ascertain which side of the door the image was on
as I was sure of equal horror on both sides.
We moved into cell 3 where I quickly
sketched another face. More information was given regarding the story of two
thatchers being interred after discovering an affair with a solicitor and
the Mayors/judges wife. We learned that the solicitor, Thomas Lauder (maybe law-
do-er) was afraid or faced with blackmail and secretly smuggled in
a lead pipe or thatching tool for the men, George and Edward to overthrow the
guards and escape. Unfortunately, the guards were made aware of this and they
were bludgeoned to death with the tool. At this point we thought that
Thomas had informed them.
David was able to sketch Thomas and
Edward? Thomas was wearing small round spectacles.
During a break I sketched a young girl
looking around a corner. It meant nothing to me and I placed it on a chair.
Someone from the other group came over and said that this image was exactly
that of a spirit they had contacted in another part of the building. Evidently
her name was Mary. I look forward to further reports of this contact.
The banging had stopped.
After the break we attempted to contact
with a glass and table. This was the most interesting point of the evening.
Tracey smelled vomit and felt a fight in cell 1, and thought Thomas was an
inmate, although this did not sit with the story that was unfolding. Others in
the group assumed that Thomas had double crossed the men with the escape plan
in order to 'remove the problem' We asked many questions leading to this but
gained nothing. The information we did receive came at such speed, with such a
complex twist that we were all surprised by it.
We learned that the mistress/wife of
Mayor/judge had warned the guards of the escape and Thomas' involvement.

As a group we had learned enough
information prior to the glass experiment to have concocted a different end to
the story. The fact that the story included this complex twist, verifying all
information gathered throughout the evening, leads me to
believe this was a paranormal experience. Those using the glass
regularly removed their finger and Tracey's information was verified without
her being part of the group.
During the glass experiment, Dave left
the room and invited a spirit to follow him whilst he collected an item from
another room. Upon his return the glass correctly recognised the item from
a choice of three.
Another break and we split up to spend
more time in the cells. Returning to cell 3 we noted a change in atmosphere. It
was no longer heavy, there was no further anticipated activity, in fact it was
very calm. We discussed the development of the story objectively, attempting to
identify any unconscious, coersive or autosuggested actions by one or more
of the group. We were unable to do so.
We moved the glass experiment to the
prison central hall and spoke with the Spirit of John Mould/Mold. He told us he
was with his wife and daughter in the solitary cell. He said he was a butcher
and that his wife had suffered, what appreared to be a stab wound, and
they were all brought to the cells. His sad story went onto reveal that he had
watched his wife and daughter being raped by the guards. We encouraged him to
show himself to us and were able to record light anomalies as a result. After
suggesting that they search for, and walk towards the light and the glass
stopped moving.
Many photographs were taken throughout
the evening. One I took of the condemned corridor and stairway appeared to have
an image on it. Many would say this is paradoilia, the mind creating an
image from other triggers. For me, it was a lady in grey and a child wrapped in
a blanket. No orbs were evident in any of the photographs I took.
Overall I would say that we had a very
productive evening.
I am left wondering two things:
1. I understand there may have been one
or more police officers among the group, is it possible that the spirits used
all our energies believing that, finally, justice would be heard?
2. Why was I seeing these?!
