Statues (Page 2)

No Rodin? you're wondering.  Well...er...not yet.  I've combined
two slightly  different views of  The Age of Bronze,  but haven't
got round to removing a blue plastic bucket in the background!
Most of the images I have combined have been tidied up in one
way or another. Look closely at the right-edge shadow of Flore
below.  Yes,  added by hand to extend a tightly cropped photo.

If you don't know what a classic  Greek  profile should be,  look
closer at Jason (bottom right corner). Of all the great European
sculptors, including Michelangelo, Thorvaldsen came closest to
the Ancient Greek ideal.  But don't tell anyone I told you!
