Barding
 Centaurs cannot wear armour designed for Humans or other two-legs. Barding is armour designed for equine use, including horses and centaurs. Non-equine characters cannot wear it.

(+5) magical versions of the Centaur broadbow and Centaur crossbow are known to exist.

 

Crossbows gain a +10 to hit bonus.

 

And if you wear your Centaur Council half-gauntlets while using a bow, you do get their damage bonus.

Non-magical barding is sold by all traders and adventuring supply shops. Magical barding is only available from Stables.

 

Equus Barding is sold exclusively by the Centaur Council at Centaur Meadows only and is available to members at the reduced rate. It has a special cloth-padded interior which helps it absorb damage. However, this does make it more vulnerable to fire-based attacks.
