Kreskin’Lal’s Tower
Following the successful completion of the Noir’s Lair Mission, the leadership of the Centaur Council looked for a new challenge. From what we learned in Noir’s Lair it appeared that there was a link between the the curse placed on the elven race that leaves its males debilitated, and the Equus, and thence to Jibu Ramess, the Black Mare, the goddess of the Dark Centaurs. This curse is said to have been the work of Kreskin’Lal, and there are also rumours that it was this powerful ancient sorcerer and evil warlord who first turned the Dark Centaurs to evil.
If this is so then the truth may lie in Kreskin’Lal’s tower, his ruined stronghold which is said to lie in the foothills of the Spirit mountains in the far west of Winterward. Chaldan Ironhoof has therefore announcing that Kreskin'Lal's Tower will be the location for the new Centaur Council mission. Finding Kreskin’Lal’s Tower may be no easy matter though, for it is said to be permanently shrouded in mist. Others have sought it in the past - few have returned, and none have succeeded in discovering its secrets. This has included a previous attempt by the Centaur Council in association with the Terin’Sha (see Hoofprints 3).
However Chaldan is confident that our members and associated allies will be strong & organised enough to overcome any of the powerful evil magics and fell monsters that guard the Tower.
Achieving the complete investigation of Kreskin'Lal's Tower and solving the mysteries inside, particularly if this leads to the solution to the Elven curse, would prove to be a huge triumph for our Fae cousins and ourselves. To this end the Centaur Council proffers an invite to other interested parties to accompany us to this Tower.
As with the CC mission to Noir's Lair, new Centaur Council mission participants will be able to take advantage of a generous grant to boost their armour or weapons, plus food, healing potions and teleport costs. Non-CC members will be offered a grant at the discretion of the Centaur Elders, upon a suitable application.
The Mission to Kreskin’Lal’s tower will be departing shortly. The most up-to-date news on the Mission can be found in the latest issue of Hoofprints .
