Centaur Paths

Paths are advanced (or sometimes just different) directions of development that a character can opt to take. Changing from the ‘basic’ centaur path to the advanced paths can be learnt at a Path House, which are located in most major dungeon courtyards (there is a separate Path House for each race / class), and requires both gold and considerable experience. You can only follow one path. It is not a skill and does not count towards your skills limit. There are three paths open to centaurs.

Centaur Hero
8000 XP, 4000 GP, Order To Take Path:- 'L' '50'
Centaur Heroes are deadly fighters who gain significant combat abilities (yet to be determined) as well as the chance to cheat death once in an amazing escape.

Centaur Mage
4000 XP, 2000 GP, Order To Take Path:- 'L' '51'
Centaur Mages have learned the ways of magic and can cast most Enchanter spells. They gain +4 magical defence, but are not precluded from wearing metal barding.

Centaur Champion
2000 XP, 1000 GP, Order To Take Path:- 'L' '52'
Champions gain significant combat abilities (+13 health, +10 attack, +2 damage range).
