Show Rules and Conditions of Entry

1. Organisers and/or ground owners will not be responsible for any injury arising from any accident to persons, animals or property, or theft of any property.
2. The judges decision is final.
3. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, split or amalgamate any classes.
4. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry, without giving a reason, or to send from the showground anyone using unreasonable behaviour.
5. Any objection must be handed to the Show Secretary in writing within half an hour of the incident together with a deposit of £10.00.
6. All riders are advised to wear hard hats to BS EN 1384 or PAS 015, but BSI 4472 or BSI 6473 will be accepted at Club events. Hats, with the harness fastened, must be worn at all times when mounted.
7. Correct riding attire, as appropriate to the competition, must be worn at all times.
8. Membership applications will not be accepted on the day of a show.
9. Riders on lead rein at the beginning of the show will be unable to ride off the lead rein for the duration of the show and those starting the show off the lead rein may not go back on the lead rein during the show. (This does not apply when taking part in the clear round jumping.)
10. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. (PLEASE REMEMBER TO LEAVE SUFFICIENT VENTILATION IF LEAVING THEM IN YOUR CAR.)
11. Ages from from 1st January in all cases, unless otherwise stated.
12. The Organisers advise that body protectors should be worn where necessary, and MUST be worn at all cross country etc. events.
13. When a show has two main jumping rings, horse/rider combinations will only be able to jump in one of those rings - not both.
14. No stallions will be allowed on the showground at any time.
15. No horse or pony may be ridden more than once in each class.
16. Horses and ponies in all ridden classes must be 4 years and over.
17. Entry fees will not be refunded unless the horse/pony is judged unsound by a veterinary surgeon or a judge.

YOUR ENTRY TO CLASSES IN THE CLUB’S SHOWS OBLIGES YOU TO READ THESE RULES AND ABIDE BY THEM.
