New years night at the Bull in Colchester - despite the freezing weather the place was warmed up to oven temperature by the mad crowd! A great gig which also saw the first outing of the Journey classic 'Don't Stop Believin'. Thanks to everyone who came along and to our regular supporters, you all know who you are! HAPPY NEW YEAR and see you in 2010!

Another fantastic day at Kesgrave - excellent weather (unlike last year!) and a brilliant crowd - the largest BOC have ever played to! Please go to our guestbook and let us know what you thought of the event (or just say hi). Thanks to the organisers and stage & sound crew who helped everything run smoothly. Proposed legislation that could adversely affect live music in the UK: the government wish to consider it a Legal requirement in the new tax year to introduce laws insisting anyone applying or re-applying for an entertainment license must have a noise control device fitted to the venue. These devices have a tendency to cut a band off in mid-song - we always try and avoid playing venues which use them having fallen foul of them before. If you want to continue to hear live rock music the proper volume, please click here and sign the petition.
