It is important to keep your Gutters and Downspouts clean and free from leaks

If gutters and downspouts are not kept clean and free from leaks, damage to property can soon develop. Gutters and downspouts prevent your roof's wooden fascias from getting wet and rotting. They will also help  in the prevention of damp and mould growth on brickwork and the developing of damp in the inside of the property.

. Downspouts also prevent water from gathering at the base of your property by channelling the water into the correct place ie the drain.

Prevent unwanted rotting and damp by regularly checking and, if necessary, cleaning and repairing your gutters and downspouts. Water will then be allowed to flow unrestricted through the gutter and downspout to the drainage system.

YOU CHOOSE HOW ITS DONE AND BY WHO

Are you the type who will gladly get out the ladder, have somebody foot it for you (this is very important) and climb up to do it yourself?  Then I still advise you to do this on a yearly basis.   But please be careful.
