LISTINGS ARE IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER

THE BLACK DOLLAR BILLS

A great new band from Birmingham - who actually do have a website (see 'The Black Dollar Bills' ). Why are they here then? Lead guitarist Tom Mitchell is Gary's nephew. Biased? Yeah, but they're still pretty darn good!

Want to know more? Visit their site and listen to some of the best rock music Mercia has to offer - or contact Gary at mitchellsmith@tesco.net .

SAMANTHA LAURILLA

A great new singing talent - that Sam Laurilla!

In 2007 Sam won the prestigious 'Guiding Star' national competition, performing at the Manchester Evening News Arena with top acts such as McFly and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. As a result of this breakthrough Sam has jetted off to New York to record with a top US producer, having already made several successful demos in Bournemouth studios.

On April 2nd and 3rd 2008, Sam and friends were seen and heard in a triumphant live showcase at Christchurch's famous 'Regent Centre' - performing original and cover material - including new recording 'Learning Curves' - all in aid of the 'Bliss' premature baby unit.

Sam works tirelessly for charity and can often be heard in the UK chatting, gigging and singing live.
