The Side Effects on the Radio...

May 2006 the band saw the band being interviewed and playing live on the new More Raw show on BBC Radio York.

The May 20th show was basically a Side Effects special as the band reviewed new tracks from other bands (don't mention the lard...), played a (semi-) unplugged version of "The Band Made Big live in the studio which the BBC described as "what has to be the loudest acoustic session ever heard" and gave an exclusive interview which Matt Seymour valiantly tried to control and keep broadcast-able - he cut the band short before they could give the full intimate background details to "Girlfriend"... but still played the pre-release version in the next show on the 27th...
