2006 and 2007 have seen the band in the studio recording at studios of the
label working on
their awesome debut album. Being perfectionists its taken time - ok too much
time - will they ever finish it?!? Titled
Halluci-nation the album weaves a story through the very best
material of the band's live set with the same mixture of funk, punk, rock, roll,
soul, reggae,
percussion, brass, keyboards and mayhem that makes the band so exciting live
(well that's what it says here anyway)...
The band have issued two pre-release tasters from the album - a free single version of Busted - handed out as a thank you to fans at one specific Blues Bar gig - it'll be worth a fortune on eBay one day...
Whilst the first formal release was a limited edition taster, an awesome remix of crowd favourite (I Didn't Mean to Sleep With Your) Girlfriend, with Jonny and Matt sharing more than just the vocals...
The limited edition CD single was released in November 2006 to coincide with the band's November '06 tour, comes in a spectacularly lurid naff pink cover - the limited run is totally sold out now but we're keeping the online version available for a bit longer - just follow the link below to the Straytown shop:
